sewing marathon

I was just too busy to write posts during the week - I got a lot of things done:

I quilted my two Ribbonry rainbow tops:

Ribbonry I

Ribbonry II

I finished the "Deal with Mum" quilt (more here and here)

Deal with Mum

Deal with Mum - bindingDeal with Mum

I bound my Hand Qulting Trial I:

Hand Quilting Trial I

Hand Quilting Trial I

And I almost ofrgot that I even worked a bit on Easy Street:
see I cut the "extras" that I dutifully ignored so far on step 2 and 3 and I marked a few more of the shaded 4 patches.

Easy Street - part 3 + extras

  5. ooooh Leo, The ribbony quilts look great! I love the spiral of quilting from the center. That must have been a bit tricky? And the quilt you made for your mom looks great too. Blogging does take a lot of time. I need to get out o my sewing room and get on with my day! cheers, Claire W.

  13. Love that spiral on the ribbon quilt! Did you just use your foot to gauge the width as you sewed?
