These are my trial "brave new world" blocks
And becuase I was catching up on the flying geese on Friday they belong here too. And the reason why I didn't get to do much mor on the Easy Street bits, I'm done piecing this quilt and I used the ES pieces to get some order in my chain piecing.
Opps yes, the screw must have come loose - the needle didn't come out of the project anymore - but no worries that was a really easy fix - but it was a first timer. I'm almost through with the straight lines. I did stitch in the ditch on the sewing lines that enclose the center fussy cut pieces and now am doing that wriggly-straight line quilting
Of course this weather condition helps

ReplyDeleteNice job, getting closer now!
On the other hand I hate to see the mystery end.

Did you like the 2 in 1 method? I saw it and was terrified to try. lol Good on you though! They look gorgeous and BOO! Down with snow! Boo!
ReplyDeleteI like that method but didn't know how to do it.
ReplyDeleteHey Leo, I don't know how you have the ptience for all those pieces in the Mystery! Geez. Is that the baby quilt your mom commissioned from you? It's very cute and it looks like you are doing a great job on the quilting! I'ts beautiful, but dark outside huh?! cheers, CW
ReplyDeleteI love the ducky quilt! Very cute and you're doing a wonderful quilting job. I'm going to start on step 2 and 3 of Easy Street even though I'm not finished step 1. I want to keep up with the crowd :)
ReplyDeleteLovely snow! The pieces are looking great and the quilt is lovely.
ReplyDeleteWith that snow, staying inside and sewing is the best thing. I will enjoy watching your Easy Street quilt take shape. I love that it appears you are using more solids than prints.
ReplyDeleteblessings, jill
Beautiful stitching and I was just reading a old quilt magazine and saw the 2 in 1 method, looks great! Thanks for sharing.
