1) What are your preferred crafts? Do you have one primary one that you  do most of or do you dabble around in many different crafts?
Well I've been pretty consitently dabbling in a lot of crafts never could just stick to one. I do from time to time carpentry and a good amount of crocheting and knitting, of course sewing. I do paper craft - cards, origami, traditional stuff  eg "Dresdner Stern". I dabble from time to time in bookbinding. And if gardening can be considered a craft then I do that too, planting, pruning, laying paths, digging, arranging perennial plantations ...


2) What avenues inspire you most in your sewing/crafting that we might like to check out? e.g. what are your favourite books or websites or shops to visit etc... that we *must* know about ;)

3) Are you a one project at a time person or do you have "craft ADD" - OR are you somehow like me and have a combination of both?

I am sort of a one project in one craft at the time but many projects in different crafts at the same time person.

4)  What is/has been your longest ever Work in Progress (WIP)?
That would be my log cabin quilt top I started that in my summer holidays in 12th grade and well still haven't finished it. It took 1 summer to sew the blocks another 2 summers to put the blocks together. And every summer since then I dig it out but can't decide on how to quilt, not to mention that I'm scared of quilting it. and well after the summer it goes back into it's shoe box together with the backing. I do not want to call it UFO because my mind is constantly working on it.

5 ) What are some of your crafty projects that you've made recently (or not so recently is ok to) that you'd love us to see?
 My favourite finish (so far) is my red  shelf - I have to admit there was no sewing machine involved in any step of the project. (And yes, before you ask, I do have a lot more frogs in other places)

6) Do you have a piece of fabric or craft item of any sort with a story behind it that you'd like to share briefly?

How about my first patchwork - I posted about that before. My mum was upholstering our living room chairs with the orange (upholstery) fabric, when we went to get the fabric we got one of those "sample books" that's where the rest of the fabric is from. Back then I had no idea what words like patchwork and quilt mean, I learned that a few years later when "English" turned up on my time table.
