Any ideas how to "make that right"? It really doesn't look liek a butterfly - do I have the proportions wrong? the directions of the curves, the body ... arghh
UPDATE:
Catherine told me the obvious I needed to put the small wings at the bottom - I figured I would let them overlapp as an extra. Now I'm thinking I just need to make the "body" smaller, a litle slimmer and maybe the big wings a tad smaller.

Hey Leo, It's very cute. Maybe some embroidered eyes and / or antenae? If you really want to get anatomical; insects have 3 body parts so maybe taking little curved snips to suggest the head and /or thorax/ abdomen but I think you could keep the body simple to.
