busy weekend with snow

I haven't really been dedicated to my flowers last weekend, but there was a SWAP to be posted on Saturday, a birthday card to be sent, 2 letters to be written, and the general Saturday shopping and cleaning. And on Sunday I woke up to London covered in snow - everyone here has kept telling me it never snows in London. And I had already come to get used to the though of living through a winter without snow - now that there was some snow I can cope with not having created any snowmen

(that's last years .. well one of them) 

So I used Monday to get going on my hexagon border for the hexagon quilt, 1 sides completely done, one side halfway and one started, so I only have one  without any sign of a border.
