St. Patrick's Day giveaway

Any excuse for a giveaway is a good excuse. Those that read my blog know that I just moved, so I'm still a bit unorganised and still have unopend boxes. But I wouldn't want to miss a give away. I got rid of some old calendars making envelops, and being a postcrosser I went through my "to send" postcards and found some that might be interessting for crafters. And some more flowers (I didn't know they still existed, moving can have its good sides too). The pink flower would have been perfect for my last pink givaway  (no need to click on the link it's over).

So to the pictures and details:  as the St. Patrick's Day colour is green how about the green(ish) envelopes.

The two hand craft related postcards (or more if I find some more)

and one flower or two if you can give me a reason

The small print:
* You don't need to be a follower to enter just tell me  what you would want for your birthday if you were a 13 year old young Lady?
*To my (few) but dear readers I think I will let you get a second entry - just to reward you, or rather thank you for sticking with me
*Open internationally
*The give away starts when I post the post (so if you can see it it's open) and lasts until March 23rd noon Berlin time (GMT+1)

  1. WHat I would want if I was a 13 year old girl. My little girl that age wants all kinds of junk. Ops I mean craft items. We have settled on knitting stuff, sewing machine and material and patterns (sewing machine is a second for my wife but she uses it a lot) and cooking gadgets.

  2. Knitting & crocheting postcards? Where did you get them? I can't let this opportunity pass! :-)
If I were a 13 years old young lady I would probably want a really big book with a nice history: 'Agnes Cecilia' by Maria Gripe would be great.

  5. Remembering my own teenage years, if I were a 13 year old today I would want a new IPod with all the popular tunes of the day. Or sewing patterns and fabric.

The Postcrosser looks like a lot of fun. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you Löni!

  6. Anything electronic. That seems to be the norm these days. I gave both of my girls on their 13th birthday a day at a spa. They had facials, manicures, pedicures and a message. They loved it. I told them it was a rite of passage into the world of a teenager.

  8. I am a new follower. Moving is very hard but sometimes you find things you forgot about or is just simply got put away and forgotten. To win green envelopes and handcrafted related postcards are really a very nice gift to win. As far the flowers go, one is good to have but two is always better. But what do I know - after all they ARE your flowers. It is snowing here in Sonora, CA so the Blog Hop Party is a blessing right now.

  9. I forgot about the birthday present for a 13 year old. She is now a teenager. What about a little makeup, just for her? Not too much. Maybe some gloss or even a very light lipsick would work. Just something special for her. Maybe even take her out for a special dinner.

When I was 13, I wanted a set of hot rollers to set my hair, but I wasn't allowed until I was 16 :) Hmm...maybe a cake set with all the fun gadgets and cake icing tips and tools...or a sewing machine and really thorough book on how to make your own clothes...or maybe a really nice bound journal? Hm....13 is tough..hm!

  31. A 13 year girl would like something feminine as a signal that she is approaching womanhood... A piece of clothing that is hip yet colourful and frilly, a book that celebrates being female, or a visit to a restaurant with a favoured aunt or mother, to celebrate becoming "one of the female adults".
