thunderstorm in January

There is a first for everything. I can't remember ever having seen or heard a thunderstorm in January - It's maybe 5 degrees and we have thunder and lightning and heavy rain and 2 official weather warnings.

First I thought they put up a speed camera - well but they usually don't make a noise. I think I will use the thunderstorm to make myself a cup of tea and do some sewing. And maybe just do the Goodbye January Welcome February blogging part.

Well for the NewFO link up it's interessting what I started this month:

I started and finished this little Doll Quilt for the Doll Quilt Swap

I started this little handquilting project - or rather trial

It's slow bloggers link up today to finish off the month and it's WIP Wednesday and tomorrow will be Fresh Sewing Day if I don't mix anything up.

This month was - I think - richer in sewing.

I finished my Beginners' Quilt Along top - all the blocks and solved the border problem

I finished the Walk the line top

 

 I started a scrap quilt

I finished my October Mini Quilt for the Swap

I finished my Ribbonry double rainbow top #1

And I have everything cut and ready for #2
